Brad Jones, originally from Harrah, OK, moved to Wichita Falls, TX, in 2001. In addition to starting a successful landscape company, Brad joined the Wichita Falls Fire Department and promoted up the ranks to the FEO position. In 2011, he bought a ranch and began raising registered black Angus. An entrepreneur at heart, he’s done everything from contracting, building, and selling homes, to starting a commercial real estate holdings company.
After 11 years of managing his businesses and fighting fires, Brad sought a new challenge. He sold his businesses, resigned from the fire department, and moved with his family to Possum Kingdom Lake. He started new ventures in both Graham and Mineral Wells that proved wildly successful, and began his real estate career at Possum Kingdom Lake where he has loved helping clients buy and sell recreational properties.
He brings to the real estate industry strong negotiation skills that help him obtain the best deals possible for his clients in a timely fashion. Having a background in construction allows him to educate his clients during the selling and buying process so that they make smart decisions. The ability to market a home in a way that the home stands out above the rest, coupled with his ability to communicate with others so that everyone understands the situations faced, is his recipe for success.
A self-professed “straight to business and get things done kind of guy,” Brad says that he’s not one to chit-chat, and that his target clients relate well to his no-nonsense personality. His focus is the luxury home, farm and ranch, and commercial sectors, and many times, these consumers don’t have time for small talk, they only have time for results, and results are what he is all about.
Outside of real estate, Brad is deeply involved with his community. He created Make Mineral Wells Great Again, a grassroots movement to help revitalize the town by organizing clean-up efforts around the community and inspiring residents to make a positive impact on the community. He also created the Secret Santa Project in conjunction with The Prestwood O'Neil Foundation to provide Christmas to hard-working, low income families who may have too much pride to ask for help.
Past achievements include being named the 2013 Career Agent of the Year, the Commercial Agent of the Year in 2015, and 2016, and the Top Business Growth in 2016. He was also recognized by the Times Record News in Wichita Falls for his outstanding work ethic.
In his spare time Brad enjoys walking each night with Randi, his wife of 14 years, and spending time with his two daughters. His passions include working on his properties and taking care of his livestock. He can be found hunting on his ranch in Clay County and Elk hunting each September in Colorado. He likes golf, even though he may be the worst person ever who has tried so hard to learn the sport. An avid reader, Brad enjoys devouring biographies of successful people. It appears he’s learned a thing or two from them and has put it to practice in his own successful careers!
