Upon getting to know Eric Farrell, it may be surprising that such expertise comes from a man not long in the real estate business. His knowledge rises from a lifetime immersed in the ranching industry, underpinned by integrity, energy, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to client service. Eric’s Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business comes from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. But, just as he spent his summers taking classes at Texas Tech University while simultaneously working the west Texas feed lots, he is simultaneously furthering his real estate career while furthering his knowledge of the industry.
His degree was Eric’s first step on the path to multiple successful careers. Moving onto the more technical side of the cattle industry, as opposed to his early feedlot riding, he found a position marketing and installing Estrus Detection Systems. Eric’s time in the cattle science industry was his chance to travel the US, seeing farmers and ranchers revolutionize their breeding operations with modern technology.
In 2001, Eric repositioned himself to a role in the insurance business. He built a book of clients that he manages and services personally. The friendly, “done with a handshake” conduct he brought to the insurance industry has made him well-noted for his prompt and polite customer service. Multiple outstanding achievements have found their way to Eric’s name, and it is no doubt related to his nearly perfect customer retention rate.
In a time, place, and industry, like that of real estate, where competition is keen and communication is king, trust is a reasonable worry. That is why Eric serves his community on the Agricultural Advisory Board for the Parker County Tax Appraisal District, as well as serving on the Parker County Agricultural Extension Board. These posts keep him up to date on all of the rules, regulations, and laws that surprisingly arise when buying, selling, or leasing property.
To Eric, ranching is a way of life. It is a passion. He currently owns a stocker operation in north central Texas. His position at Clark Farm and Ranch Real Estate Group is the proliferation of a life of experience and foresight paired with the commitment and compassion that will be used to find other equine and bovine enthusiasts the homes, estates, and ranches of their dreams.
