Cresson is a city in Hood, Johnson, Parker, and Tarrant Counties in the U.S. state of Texas. It is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 377 and State Highway 171, seventeen miles southwest of Fort Worth.
The Granbury Independent School District and the Aledo Independent School District serve area students.
